About

Pearson’s Falls & Glen is the top natural attraction in Polk County, NC, hosting over 30,000 visitors each year.  We are a non-profit owned and operated by Tryon Garden Club and located in the foothills of Western North Carolina between the towns of Tryon and Saluda.

This historical botanical preserve is classified as a deciduous climax forest and nearly 300 acres.  Featuring over 310 species of wildflowers and plants, including mosses, lichens, shrubs, and a vast variety of trees. Hike our Glen trail to the stunning Pearson’s Falls - a spectacular 90 foot waterfall.
